Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. The majority of her early years listening to classic music, boleros from the past, classic ranchero or romantic tunes and older classical songs. Ana is passionate about the operas and tangos as well as all dramatic performances. Ana began to learn how to sing and play music from an early age, along alongside her mother. The formal training in singing at the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She continued her musical training through the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. When she was a student, as well when she was a professional young at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choruses. Following her move in California in United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her home in southern California. She currently performs traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. She is involved with many local projects, both as a teacher as well as a performer due to her love for music and arts. Ana has also been a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to Inland Master Chorale members for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
