MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He is a major player in music in the Latin mainstream. In the year 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In 2017, he released ADN, his first long-player for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It reached the number 8 spot at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca, one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. The group released Dopamina, his chart-topping sophomore album the following year. In 2021 he recorded a duet for TINI's hit song Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo is a musician who was born into a musical family. Both his parents were also musicians. Turizo has told interviews that music was a necessity. As a child, playing the guitar ukulele as well as piano. He initially wanted to be an vet but when his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons with an Cuban singer, he changed goals for his future career.
