Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. He started his acting career by playing roles in television series, like Opposite Sex in 2000. Evans gained fame as The Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 movie Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans has also been featured in film versions of comics and graphic novel TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). Evans gained more attention for the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He became one of the most highly paid actors in the world thanks to his involvement in the Marvel franchise.
