Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September 21 1983) is an American actress, best well-known for her role in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television show Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Her birthplace was Worthington in Ohio. She was kicked out of school after her parents divorced to go into Los Angeles to live with her mother. She was struggling to get by when she got her first role in acting as Rachel's Room's leading character. The TV film Murder in Greenwich, in which she played 15-years-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford was the character Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons in 2004, and she shared with her a Screen Actors Guild Award (with other cast members) alongside her. Grace decided to concentrate on film after starring opposite Tom Welling's character, The Fog, in 2005. She was in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 and Taken (2008) alongside Liam Neeson. The role was reprised for Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the leading role in Alice on Malice in Wonderland a modern version of Lewis Carroll's classic novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to the character of Shannon for two additional episodes of Lost as well as the show's finale. The actress was featured in 2013's six-season of Californication. She portrays Faith who's both a star-gazer and socialite. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. She's a Gyllenhaal. child of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), she is a bit older in age than Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager She began working as a small part-time actress for her father. She also appeared in Donnie Darko along with her brother. The year 2002 saw her appeared as a character on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. She also appeared on Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her lead performances in Secretary (2002, erotic romantic drama) and Sherrybaby (606) and Sherrybaby (606) of which earned the actress Golden Globe Award nods. The actress gained more attention after playing Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008) due to the success of several commercials she appeared in in 2006. She was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her role on the film Crazy Heart, (2009). The subsequent roles she has played include Nanny McPhee, the Big Bang and Hysteria. Other roles she has played include Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013 an action thriller), actors in Frank (2014 Drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018) as well as the role of the kindergarten teacher. Gyllenhaal began her career as director, screenwriter and script writer. she wrote and directed her psychological horror film The Lost Daughter.
